Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament

Annie is a wonderful dog that was surrendered to us due to no fault of her own. She had never been with other dogs and not really socialized, but extremely obedient. Since with us, she has made two fur buddies and gets along great with them! She loves walks and playing in the yard, so we'd love her to go to a active family that will walk daily and is not away from home too long through out the day. She is good with dogs, although we prefer her to go with only male dogs over 80 pounds. She also would benefit from learning from a alpha dog who is happy to show her the ropes. She is very well behaved indoors. Loves going to Petsmart and for car ... (Read More)rides. Knows her commands so well, you almost feel bad for her eagerness to please. Don't get us wrong, she is a total goof ball and sometimes will lay down at your feet to use the top of her head to play with them. She's walks beautifully on the leash and is 125 pounds. She's just had her coat cut for the summer and behaved excellent for the groomer. We will only allow her to go to families whose children are at least 10 years old, because she is so tall. We prefer adopters with XL dog experience as well. Annie will also need to be on a grain free diet. She is currently on taste of the wild salmon. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-01-28-00106Jax (male)

Saint Bernard    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Female Dogs Only, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

I have a 9 year old male St. Bernard who is very dominate and territorial. He has had extensive training and is good most of the time. It takes him time to warm up to strangers. The reason I have to re home him is because he does not like my son who has just started walking and I have to look out for the safety of my child.
