|Rescue Me ID: 14-04-30-00498Joe (male)|
Joe has spent the entire 7 years of his life outside at the end of a chain. He is now safely in a kennel. Despite his rough start, he loves people and craves companionship. He is learning that toys are fun, and walks are enjoyable! He has learned some basic commands, but is eager to learn more. He is a very lovable guy that just sinks right into you when you pet him. He tested positive for Lyme disease, but has been treated, and is doing well. Joe does well going on walks with other dogs (larger dogs are best) but would prefer to have his home and family to himself. Something he certainly deserves! Joe weighs about 60 lbs, so rather small for a St Bernard mix. If you would like to meet this wonderful boy, contact firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, or firstname.lastname@example.org. THIS IS A COURTESY POST. Saint Bernard Dogs can make good pets in New Hampshire if they match your IifestyIe. The Saint Bernard is an enormous, friendly and trustworthy dog. Saint Bernards are very patient with children and are extremely devoted to their people. It is important that Saint Bernards are thoroughly trained and socialized as puppies so that they are manageable as adults. Despite their huge size, Saint Bernards can live in an apartment if they get enough exercise.
