Rescue Me ID: 17-09-22-00037Charlie (male)

Saint Bernard Mix    Age: Young Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Charlie is a 2.5 year old St. Bernard cross. He is a neutered male and he weighs 55 pounds. He has a gorgeous long red and white coat. In this photo he has been partially clipped due to mats. Charlie is sweet with the family at his foster home, but does not have great manners. The family is working with him but he needs training. He likes other dogs, but does not have good dog social skills so he is too rough in his attempts to play. He would do best as the only pet in the home or with people who understand how to socialize a very large dog. Charlie has been abandoned and neglected in his short life and he really wants to feel safe in a ... (Read More)home. He is neutered up to date on his immunizations and heart worm negative. To adopt Charlie, go to LeeShoreRescue.com and fill out an application. Charlie is available for local adoption only (Western-Nroth Carolina or Upstate-South Carolina). (Less)

Saint Bernard    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Daisy is an exceptionally beautiful. resilient, good natured St. Bernard who was hit by a car in July and abandoned on the road. She suffered pelvic fractures, including a right hip fracture. She was also emaciated. We rescued her and put her under vet care. Her fracture has healed, leaving Daisy with a limp but she runs and plays! A generally active dog who also likes to laze around and cuddle, quiet in the house and playful outside. Daisy is on slow kill heartworm treatment, finished her month of doxycycline and started on monthly heart guard. She needs an on going anti inflammatory like Rimadyl. Daisy has gained over ten pounds since ... (Read More)her rescue and is near her ideal weight of 85 pounds. She is stunning, friendly and obedient, knows basic commands and adores belly rubs! Daisy has shown no aggression towards people but she will chase cats and small dogs. She loves attention, likes to be inside where you are and does not like being outside alone. She is great with kids. We know all this since her vet is fostering her . Apply here https://www.crisisdogsnc.org/adopt We do not keep good adopters waiting.. contact us for more pics and details. Rescue Me ID: 17-09-13-00060Max (male)

Saint Bernard    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

This is Max he 1-1/2 to 2 years old and is a very energetic playful boy. So much so he cannot go into a home with small children (just is too rambunctious). Max does need rules and boundaries and someone who will take the time to put him through training. If you are willing to commit to that than you will end up with a great dog. If not you will have an obnoxious teenager on your hands and neither of you will be happy.
