Caroline adores people! She's as sweet as they come. She is fearful of other dogs so at this time we are unable to say whether or not she will get along with another dog. Unknown yet about cats also. She would make a great companion for a single person or a family with children.

Saint Bernard Mix    Age: Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Teddy is a 6 yr old 70 lb neutered male St. Bernard/Aussie mix. He is the SWEETEST dog ever! He is very shy around people he doesn't know, but once he bonds with you, he is your shadow. He lives beautifully with smaller female dogs and is great with cats. He does not get along with other large breed dogs and will not be placed in a home with other large dogs. Teddy loves to go for long walks and is wonderful on a leash. He never pulls. He is very quiet in the house and only barks if someone rings the doorbell or knocks. Otherwise he is very happy curled up close to you. He doesn't jump on the furniture unless invited up. He is hoursbroken. ... (Read More)A home without small children would be best for him. I hate to have to find him a new home, but he is not getting along with my other 3 large males and he deserves to be happy. If interested in adopting, please be prepared to provide references. lnteresting Saint Bernard Trivia Low-Cost Tennessee Spay & Neuter Clinics
Saint Bernard dogs have rescued thousands of people from freezing to death in snowstorms and avalanches. Saint Bernards were bred by a monk to be able to rescue Alpine travelers. A Saint Bernard can track and find a person buried under an avalanche of snow. Supposedly, Saint Bernards used to wear small casks of brandy intended to warm the people they were sent to rescue. The monks of St. Bernard Hospice deny this having ever been the case.
