Missy is an owner surrender that is approximately 4 years old. She is a very energetic young lady that weighs approximately 80 pounds. She loves to play and run and enjoys being petted and loved. They are playful and have always been around other dogs and children big and small. They are litter mates, and I have had them both since they were 6 weeks old and I would like to find a home that can take two large loving dogs due to their strong bond. Bacchus is on the right in the photo, Sophia is on the left. They are up to date on all vaccinations except rabies.

Patches is a half GreatPyr/half Saint Bernard that is approximately 1-2 years old. He came to us from a high kill shelter in Texas. He is a great, fun loving, young boy that is very smart and very well mannered. He loves playing with smaller dogs and loves to play tug of war. He is very gentle with the smaller dogs. He has now been neutered and is current on all shots and is heartworm negative. He weighs approximately 85 pounds and is full grown. He also is a very good indicator for protection. That is the great Pyr in him. He will bark when someone approaches that he does not know, not to be mean but to let you know someone new is ... (Read More)around. PIease Read Before Adopting a Saint Bernard in Texas
Saint Bernard Dogs can make good pets in Texas if they match your IifestyIe. The Saint Bernard is an enormous, friendly and trustworthy dog. Saint Bernards are very patient with children and are extremely devoted to their people. It is important that Saint Bernards are thoroughly trained and socialized as puppies so that they are manageable as adults. Despite their huge size, Saint Bernards can live in an apartment if they get enough exercise.

lnteresting Saint Bernard Trivia Low-Cost Texas Spay & Neuter Clinics
Saint Bernard dogs have rescued thousands of people from freezing to death in snowstorms and avalanches. Supposedly, Saint Bernards used to wear small casks of brandy intended to warm the people they were sent to rescue. The monks of St. Bernard Hospice deny this having ever been the case.
