Saint Bernard Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Vaccinations Current, Abused/Neglected

Hi! My name is Boris and I'm a 4 year old neutered retriever mix, most likely with a bit of Saint Bernard in me. I'm one of the sweetest, goofiest boys you could ask for. I've had a rough go lately traveling all the way from Texas where I was picked up as a stray. My foster mom took me to the vet and I'm in pretty darn good shape. However, I'm still a bit skinny, but putting on weight nicely. I was hit by a car at some point and have an old pelvic and femur fracture. My fracture didn't heal quite right and I sometimes walk with a slight limp on my back right leg. Don't let this deter you, as I can still keep up with my doggy foster sister, ... (Read More)who is an explosion of energy. I will most likely need to be on a joint supplement to stave off arthritis. Some more about me...I'm super gentle with people and dogs. I love to snuggle and give kisses. I've been around a 6 year old boy and did very well. I don't jump, love to chew on bones and rubber toys. I go potty outside and can hold it all night. My foster mom kennels me when she's at work, but at night I have free roam and love to sleep on the couch. I walk well on a leash, know how to sit and do great in the backseat during car rides. I'm looking for someone to love me and let me love them back for the rest of my life. Boris is being fostered in Menomonie, WI. His adoption fee is $150 and includes his neuter, all age appropriate shots, microchip, and health certificate. If interested, please apply at www.hopingfurahome.com. (DATCP 403260 DS) (Less)
